Build and Render an Earthbag Wall

Get the "hands on" know-how to build and render an earthbag wall. Help the Community Garden to build and finish a wall to retain and decorate a section of our communal gardening space.Our facilitator, architect Rebecca Whan, is an expert in this field, and she has helped us to do similar things before.
This workshop is to be conducted over two sessions. You will need to book each of the two sessions to get the full picture. Each session will go for about 4 hours.
Day 1 (Sat 20th May) is an introduction to earth building techniques. We will build a wall with earth bags. On day2 (Sun 28th May) we will render the built structures and recap the building techniques.
LOCATION; We are on Mooball Street, opposite the Mount St Patrick's Primary School, next to Showgrounds Gate 2.
Please come dressed for work, be sure to wear closed footwear, and please bring your own sun protection.
