The ACS Vic committee is proud to present a special screening of upcoming feature film Sweet As followed by a Q&A with cinematographer Katie Milwright ACS.

Sweet As is a multi-award winning Australian coming-of-age drama film, the debut feature from director/writer Jub Clerc. The film stars Shantae Barnes-Cowan as Murra, a First Nations teenager from a troubled family who discovers a passion for photography while participating in a youth retreat in the Pilbara, Western Australia. In an impressive awards season, it won the Innovation Award at the Melbourne International Film Festival, the NETPAC Award for Best Film from the Asia/Pacific region at the Toronto International Film festival, and the Crystal Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival!

Katie Milwright ACS is a Melbourne based award-winning director of photography and was the tenth female cinematographer to be accredited by the ACS. We are delighted to have Katie join us for this special event and answer all of your cinematography questions!

DATE/TIME: Thursday - 15 of June. Doors open at 6pm, with the screening beginning promptly at 6:30pm.

DURATION: Two hours

COST: Free for applicable Society and Guild Members. $15 for non-members, $10 for student non-members.

ATTENDANCE: The event is free and open to all ACS, ADG, ADPG, AGSC, ASE, ASSG, AWG and SPA members.

Tickets MUST be booked to ensure your seat, even if you are entitled to FREE Entry. You do not need to print out your Try Booking receipt as we will have a list of names at the door.

You will be emailed a Tax Invoice after booking OR you can Print your Ticket which is also a Tax Invoice for your records.
