Mini Musician Trial Sessions! (SOLD OUT)

 

 

 

WELCOME TO OUR MUSIC SCHOOL! 

Our Mini Musician sessions are specialised, pre-instrumental sessions for toddlers and pre-schoolers, used to develop a range of musical skills, geared towards preparing students for school and/or formal instrumental training from 5 or 6 years old.

The sessions are held privately (one to one) or in a small group (with a maximum of 3 students of similar age per group), in a structured setting, run by classroom-trained teachers. Each session involves singing, action songs and playing instruments, with the aim of developing creativity, beat, co-ordination, pitch and listening skills. Students gain heightened listening skills, good concentration, can imitate and maintain a steady beat, and enjoy creating their own lyrics to songs. Some students even choose to bring their own instruments to the sessions to play on!

If you are interested in exposing your child more to music, or giving them a head start to learning, then this is a great way to get those Mini Musicians started!

Students are welcome to try one or two free sessions before enrolling, although our small group sessions run best with children of similar ages or ability, so please ensure you book the right session for your child, or call or email us to find the right session for you!

PLEASE NOTE:

- We offer both private or group sessions (with a maximum of 3 students per group of similar age) and lessons are billed for the remainder of term (after the free trial sessions).  These trial sessions are group sessions only, so if you would like to book a private session please contact us (cost involved).

- These sessions are regular weekly sessions, run during state school terms.  Once you have enrolled in a session, then you are expected to attend every week at the same time for the term. School terms are usually 10 weeks long with 2 week breaks between.

- These sessions are graded and progressive, and work best when children of  similar age or ability are placed together. This ensures that your child gets the most out of the sessions.

- Lessons prices are $13 per child for group sessions or $26 each for private sessions (paid by term).
- Our 24 hour policy does not apply to these sessions. There are no credits, refunds or makeup lessons available for any cancelled or missed sessions.

- We provide all of the instruments for the sessions, and also sell a range of instruments suitable for children including drums, shakers, harmonicas and ukuleles

- If there is no parking available onsite when you arrive, we kindly ask you to park on Main Road and not in the side streets.
