A sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice set two years after the novel ends, Miss Bennet continues the story, only this time with bookish middle-sister Mary as its unlikely heroine. Mary is growing tired of her role as dutiful middle sister in the face of her siblings’ romantic escapades. When the family gathers for Christmas at Pemberley, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and possibly even love.
COVID Safety Measures - UPDATE 17 November
Social Distancing - We have been able to increase our audience capacity. Our chairs are set up spaced out, but people from the same booking group can sit side by side, no space. We will limit the number of people in the bar area at one time, and ask you to return to your seats with your drinks.
Contact Register - All audience members must register their contact details on arrival.
Temperature on arrival - We will take the temperature of everyone on arrival (with a contactless digital thermometer). Anybody showing a temperature of 37.5°C or higher will not be permitted in the venue.
Sanitation - We will have hand sanitation stations at the hall for patrons to use. We will be using single use glasses for wine, and encourage audiences to bring their own water bottles with them.
Masks- We are a mask-friendly environment! Please feel confident and comfortable wearing a mask at Growl Theatre!

Friday & Saturday shows start at 7:30pm.
Sunday matinee show starts at 2:00pm.
The doors and bar open 30 minutes before the show. The bar also opens at interval selling refreshments.
