ACA CPD On Demand - Cyber Security for Architecture

ACA CPD On Demand - Cyber Security for Architecture
hero

Join the ACA and our national technology partner, Nexsys IT, to learn more about how you can take control of your cyber security in 2020. This event was originally held 16 September 2020.

Cyber crime costs the Australian economy $1 billion each year and there have been some widely publicised cyber security breaches in the media in the last few months, including well-known companies such as Lion, Toll Group and even ASIO. There has been an 80% increase in the rate of sensitive information and data loss since 2019. With COVID-19 sending many people to work from home, it's important to consider how you are exposed.

It doesn't matter whether you are a large or small practice – you can still be at risk from a range of attacks. Join the ACA for a very timely webinar about cyber security, and how you can take control and be prepared.

Nexsys IT security services are powered by Cythera, who specialise in servicing small to mid-size businesses throughout Australia. Together, they will present key insights to help you better prepare your practice for what’s coming next in cyber security. We will also be joined by Planned Cover to provide insights into cyber insurance. The webinar will cover the following elements and allow time for questions after the presentation.

  • Cyber Security in 2020
  • Examples of Cyber Incidents
  • Your responsibilities for Cyber Security
  • Cyber Insurance
  • What you can do to be protected
