Ocean Grove Coastcare Walk and Talk #2 - Woodlands (SOLD OUT)

Ocean Grove Coastcare Walk and Talk #2 - Woodlands

You are invited to our upcoming Our Place - Walk and Talks. These walks will focus on the different natural environments around our place, Ocean Grove, including estuary, woodlands, wetlands and coast and tap into the knowledge of local experts and champions who will help us to discover a little bit more about where we live.

Sunday 16th May
1pm - 2.30 pm

The northern part of Ocean Grove hosts many valuable old-growth trees and native grasses that provide habitat to a range of birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. On this walk we will start adjacent to the southern boundary of the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve and wander through part of the Woodlands estate, finishing at a private residence. Here the owners will show us their extensive native garden and provide some tips and advice on how we can provide habitat for local wildlife in our own gardens, no matter how small.

Meeting Point
Intersection of Woodlands Dr and Currawong Track (see map below)
Directions: Meet/park in the vacant area between 17 and 19 Woodlands Drive.
