Lilydale Steam Train Shuttles - Saturday 10th July 2021 (SOLD OUT)

• Join us as we operate 2 of our vintage steam engines with heritage "E type" carriages for our first visit to Lilydale in many years.

• These shuttles will travel on a scenic return journey through Melbourne's leafy eastern suburbs between Lilydale and Ringwood, featuring locomotives A2 986 & K153 (TBC). Open the windows and experience the steam era. You may also join us on our transfer trains from Newport or Flinders Street to Lilydale in the morning or Lilydale to Flinders Street or Newport in the afternoon.

• Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's eastern suburbs. 

• 4 x return shuttles will depart Lilydale at 11:12am, 12:12pm, 1:52pm and 2:52pm. These will operate to Ringwood Station and return, passengers will not be able to join/leave the train at Ringwood.

• One way transfer trips will depart at the following times - 
  Newport (9:01am) or Flinders Steet (9:29am) to Lilydale arriving at 10:31am.
  
  Lilydale 3:52pm to Flinders Street arriving at 4:53pm or Newport arriving at 5:21pm.

• COVID SAFE PRACTICES
  Under current COVIDSafe practices, Face Masks will be required for all passengers travelling on our trains unless a lawful reason not to wear one applies. Face Masks are strongly recommended where physical distancing of 1.5 metres from others cannot be maintained, such as on platforms and when joining / leaving our train. Advice will be provided closer to the date of travel based on any updated government information. Movement about the train will be restricted to your allocated seat and our on-train services such as our toilet facilities and Souvenir sales.

  Our volunteers will ensure high touch areas such as door handles and handrails are cleaned regularly. Our train will undergo a Deep Clean whilst the train is at the destination.

  All passengers travelling will be required to have a purchased ticket in advance with contact details of all persons travelling to be retained for Contact Tracing purposes in line with current government advice.

  Any passengers who experience any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to or on the day of travel, are not permitted to travel with us. If government advice changes and our train is unable to operate, or you are unable to attend due to illness, a full refund will be offered to all booked passengers.
