The Aged Care reforms are coming, is your Board ready? Will your organisation survive? Come and join us for a lively Round Table discussion for Directors of aged care services.
The findings of the Royal Commission and the Government's reponse to the recommendations means that organisations will need to demonstrate their capacity to adapt and change. With the help of an experienced facilitator, this interactive session will explore the following areas:
* Emerging trends and forces in Aged Care: business models and sustainability
* Emerging issues in governance for Boards that you need to prepare for (i.e. beyond the aged care reforms)
* Aligning your Board strategy and then your service to face the future aged care environment: identification of strengths and gaps
* Risks and opportunities: what are the areas where strategic transformation might be required, and how to go about it
This facilitated Round Table discussion will aim to:
- enhance the participants’ understanding of the reforms from a strategic perspective
- provide a platform for participants to connect and share insights about the transition to the new aged care model
- support participants to identify concrete strategies/suggestions to take to their Boards for further discussion

Important note for the session on 17 November 2021: in line with the recent Public Health Order about COVID-19 vaccination for home-care service providers, proof of vaccination (double dose) and check-in with Service NSW will be required as conditions of entry. A valid medical exemption will also be accepted in line with Government guidelines.
Please note that the Face-to-Face Round Table discussion is limited to twelve (12) Directors. Light lunch will be provided.
Deadline for registration is Monday 8 November 2021 for the first session. The successful Directors will be notified later that week.
Deadline for registration for the online session is Monday 15 November 2021.
Cost: $45 for Your Side Members; $60 for CHSP-funded service providers; and $75 others. All prices include GST. Payment will be requested after we confirm your registration to the event.
