Celebrate the return of theatre with Melbourne Shakespeare Company’s exciting new musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s most famous Comedy - A Midsummer Night's Dream. 

A Midsummer Nights Dream is a fun, frenetic and fabulous musical adventure, like nothing you have seen before.  Set in an enchanted forest with fairies, sparring lovers and a group of amateur actors who are putting on a play… this innovative new production is bound to entertain audiences young and old with its laugh out loud comedy, beautiful choreography and musical medleys.

WHAT TO BRING

This production is in the style of “Picnic Theatre”. This means you can bring along everything you would bring to a picnic such as food, drink, and a picnic rug to sit on. You can bring standard height picnic chairs but you will need to sit at the back of the audience area so people sitting on blankets and low rise chairs can see the show unobstructed. 

Please be aware that there is limited shade in Central park so we advise bringing sun protection with you.
