Noongar Singing for Beginners (CANCELLED)

Location
City of Perth Library 573 Hay Street, Perth, WA, 6000
About
Learn to sing in Noongar from Gina and Guy’s catalogue of contemporary songs in Noongar language.
About the classes
Join us to learn songs grounded in the four principles of Koort (heart), Moort (family/community), Boodja (land) and Koorlangka (children/legacy), and explore their meaning for individuals and the community. You will receive a booklet with lyrics and key words. We'll finish the series with a small concert for friends and family.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share the language of the land on which we live.
No prior singing experience is required.
