REDEVELOPMENT MEETING (MCCNS) SUNDAY 10TH APRIL @4.00PM, RON DYER CENTRE
- hear details about how the Parish will be affected by, and benefit from, a revised five year Master Plan for the redevelopment of Marist College North Shore (MCNS: K-12) including:
- new access (including disabled access) into St Mary’s church from the present car park;
- the refurbishment of the Ridge Street church garden to improve access, levels and ambiance;
- new hospitality facilities that are to be shared between the Parish and Marist College, including a gathering space, café and a large auditorium/hall; the commercial transfer of the present Ron Dyer Centre to Catholic Education Sydney (necessarily securing the site for child safety and OHS requirements);
- the relocation of the parish administration to the former presbytery which will be completely renovated, to be known as the Ron Dyer Centre;
- sole parish use of the undercover car park below the present RDC and partial changes to the present car park beside the Church for 25 car parks, spaces for prayer, a labyrinth and areas for outdoor liturgies and Masses; additional weekend and other parking for parish use under Marist College’s new Carlow Street building
