Eurovision Song Contest 2022 - Live Broadcast Party
Hello Turin....this is Georges River calling!
The World's favourite song contest, Eurovision - now in its 66th year, is returning to Hurstville!
Georges River Council’s FREE and LIVE Eurovision Broadcast Party is back bigger and better this year, with Hurstville’s Marana Auditorium transforming into little Italia.
Eurovision fans can watch the grand final LIVE on the big screen for an immersive experience with theatre-quality sound and vision.
Multi-award-winning drag queen Charisma Belle will host the event, with fellow Sydney Drag Royalty artists joining during the interval for a spectacular Italian Eurovision medley.
A FREE Italian breakfast is on offer - with hot and cold food options, coffee and tea.
For the ultimate Eurovision party, the EuroBar will be slinging Italian drinks all morning, with Italian beer, prosecco and Aperol spritzes all available for purchase. Salute!
And to keep the party going after the broadcast, our DJ will hit the decks with all your favourite Eurovision dance bangers!
There’ll be prizes up for grabs, with a lucky door raffle, a Eurovision Trivia and Best Dressed Awards, so dress to impress with glitz and glamour befitting of the Eurovision stage and our Italian Disco!
Tickets are FREE, but booking is essential as there is limited seating available.
If you want a good night’s sleep beforehand, or if you plan to have a quick nap after a night out, Travelodge Hotel Hurstville has come to the party offering a 25% discount for all partygoers.
So set your alarms, don a fabulous outfit and join us as we singalong to Australia’s Sheldon Riley showing Europe we are Not the Same, and cross our fingers that 2022 will be the year we take home the coveted Eurovision trophy!
As per our venue policy, any external food or drink will NOT be permitted into the event.
Event date: Sunday 15 May 2022
