Mushroom Foraging in Macedon

C the Market have run Foraging events in the Macedon region during the past 6 years We have teamed up with professional foragers, Richard Ford and his team at Australian Wild Herbs & Mushrooms to share with you a unique Mushroom Foraging experience in the forests of Macedon.

With over 30 years of foraging expereience, there won't be much Richard won't be able to share with us about mushrooms during your event. This workshop's educational focus is in an easily accessible style so that we can all learn how to forage, where to forage and most importantly, the safest way to enjoy this uniquely Autumn activity. Suitable for anyone interested to learn how to recognise and safely collect edible mushrooms and further their fungi knowledge. Our focus for this event is on identifying and collecting edible pine mushrooms and slippery jacks.
