Zonta fundraiser - Talks on Women Artists
About
Women artists have been largely written out of history. Join the resurgence of interest in their lives, works and the times in which they lived.
Four weekly sessions will focus on Australian women artists, including: Dorrit Black, Nora Heysen and Margaret Preston.
These women were all born in Adelaide, travelled to Europe to study art and returned to Australia bringing new and outrageous ideas. The talks will be delivered by Erica Majba, who for the past 3 years has successfully run regular sessions on women artists at U3A Tea Tree Gully.
All funds raised will go to the Zonta Club of Adelaide to support scholarships and projects for women and girls.
