Professional Learning Sessions - Term 4
The Digital Assessment Library (DAL), established by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), offers free, high quality online classroom student assessments, designed to provide teachers with meaningful and timely information about student learning and progress.
There are now over 200 assessments aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F-10 available on the DAL Platform, across Mathematics, English, Science, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Health and Physical Education. For more information about the available assessments or on how to register for the DAL, please visit the VCAA website.
To support the use of the DAL, the VCAA is delivering free online sessions for all education sectors (government, independent and Catholic), primary and secondary.
For schools that are new to the DAL or for those that want to learn more, there are general information sessions. These sessions provide an overview and demonstration of the DAL Platform, including the different assessments, administration and reporting. These will also cover how the DAL can be used to prepare for teaching and learning in 2023.
Sessions will be delivered online via WebEx with a link emailed to attendees prior to the session.
Further information about the sessions is provided below:
