Working respectfully with Aboriginal children (SOLD OUT), young people, families and workers in the child and family sector (three-week program)

Our three-week cultural awareness training provides participants with introductory knowledge of Aboriginal culture in Victoria, as well as culturally respectful ways of working with, and walking alongside, Aboriginal people, families, and communities.

Session 2 - The Stolen Generations
- What is the Stolen Generation?
- Removal of Aboriginal Children and why/how they were removed
- Bringing them home report and testimonials
- Effects of the families today
– Exploring Your Culture
- What is culture and seeing culture through a cultural lens
- Understanding white privilege
Session 3 – Understanding Aboriginal Culture today
