Who Can Attend?
Any member of the public of any age is welcome. The evening is family friendly, though children/minors must be supervised by their responsible parent or guardian at all times. Pets are not permitted anywhere inside The Briars Historic Park.

Can I Bring My Own Instrument?
Please leave your own musical instrument or astronomical telescope at home for this event.

Can I take photographs or video record during the concert?
Yes, you may for personal, non-commercial use only, provided the subject of the recording has given their consent.

Can You Store My Bag, Umbrella or Coat?
We do not have cloakroom facilities on-site. Please note that any personal belongings brought to the event are at your own risk.

Car Parking
This is available free in the areas adjacent to the observatory, at the Nursery and surrounding regions, and down the road back to the main visitors centre. Take care if walking on the road after dark as the edges are unsealed. You are advised to arrive well ahead of time to be sure of parking near to the venue.

What Happens If It Is Raining?
The evening may still proceed indoors, unless wild weather is anticipated, in which case it may be cancelled on the day. Tickets will be refunded.

What Should I Wear?
Dress casually for comfort. Wear a jacket/warmer clothes if it is cold that evening, and bring an umbrella/poncho in the event of wet weather. Wear closed shoes as you could be outdoors at times during the evening. You may also bring a small handheld torch for use after dark, or use the one from your smartphone.

Drinks?
Tea / Coffee / Cordial will be provided as part of admission.
