Your membership of Heidelberg Choral Society:

Heidelberg Choral Society (HCS) is an incorporated, not-for-profit community choir. 

Choristers wishing to sing with the HCS are required to pay both an Annual Membership Fee and a Concert Fee.

Membership is granted, to those paying an annual membership fee, for the calendar year in which payment is received.

A concert fee is also payable for members intending to participate in rehearsals and performances for a concert, and a discounted rate is provided for those willing to commit to all concerts during the year. The concert fee entitles participation in rehearsals and in the associated concert, and is payable even if the member chooses not to sing in the associated concert.

HCS collects information about members, and in applying for membership, it is understood that agreement is given to HCS to:
* Store information about the member in a membership database;
* Use the provided email address to send information about activities of HCS and those of other similar choirs;
* Include the name of the member in published concert programmes; and
* Use non-identified images of the member in choir photographs for publicity and related purposes.
Your private information will not be disclosed to any other party unless required by law.

Your application for membership is also a commitment to:
* Participate fully in rehearsals associated with the performance;
* Attend the final three rehearsals unless excused by the Musical Director; and
* Miss no more than a total of three rehearsals unless excused by the Musical Director.
Failure to comply with these commitments may result in the withdrawal of approval to participate in a performance.
