Thanks for booking a place at the Safer Drivers Course for Learners. The Course comprises 2 Modules:
Module 1 is a group discussion session involving a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 participants. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussion and activities. Participants must bring their licence and up to date logbook.
Module 2 is an in car session involving 2 participants at a time. Participants will take turns driving the vehicle. Participants must bring their licence, up to date logbook and Participant Workbook (from Module 1).
By booking a place at a Course, you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions. Please note these Terms and Conditions can change at any time, so be sure to check regularly for the most current information. If you don’t agree with these Terms and Conditions you should not use this booking system. 1. Participants in the Course should have completed a minimum of 50 logbook hours and hold a current learner drivers license.
2. Your emailed ticket is proof of purchase for the Course and must be presented at the time of admission.
3. The ticket is not transferable to another person and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased.
4. Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
5. Tickets can be changed to another date at the discretion of BYS. Should you require a transfer to an alternative date – please email info@bys.org.au and/or call 0494 389 653 at least 48 hours before the Course and suggest an alternative booking date. We will contact you ASAP via return email to confirm and validate your new booking. Transfers are only valid at an alternative Course within 30 days of the original booking.
6. 24 hrs notice will be required to change a booking for Module 2. Failure to notify and non-attendance at a Module 2 will require a $80 re-booking fee to be paid before another Module 2 booking can be made.
7. Tickets can be refunded at the discretion of BYS. There will be no refunds for latecomers or those missing the course.
8. BYS reserves the right to refuse entry.
9. This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site, and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.com
10. If the Course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, each person has the option to re-book to another date or a full refund will be issued.
11. Any data collected for marketing purposes from this event will be strictly in accordance with the Privacy of Information Act. BYS may contact you from time to time with information relevant to youth safe transport.
12. This ticket may be valid as a tax invoice or receipt in the case of registrations or other event payments and is GST inclusive.
13. Occasionally photographs may be taken at Courses. You agree to your image appearing in BYS publicity & promotional materials.
14. You can only apply for this course once with any Provider in NSW.

You understand that BYS will disclose your personal information to Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) and that it may be used by RMS for the purposes of:
- verifying your successful completion of the course; and/or
- contacting you to discuss feedback on the course
Otherwise Transport for NSW will not use or disclose your personal information without your consent unless authorised by law. Your personal information will be held by Transport for NSW at 18 Lee Street, Chippendale, NSW, Australia and you can contact Transport for NSW to request to access or correct it.
