Terms and Conditions  −  Performing Arts Camps 15 - 17 April 2024. Check-in 14 April

Conditions of Participation. For parents to read, agree to and sign
1. I certify that all details supplied are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, correct. I will explain all of these to my child.
2. While participating in this talent development project I understand that AIPA has the right to terminate my child’s involvement if he/she behaves in such a way that may jeopardize the safety or rights of themselves or others, or if they appear to have rejected the reasonable controls of the project.
3. I understand that if I my child is removed from the project, I will not be entitled to a refund and liable for the cost of returning them home via Uber if I cannot collect them.
4. I understand that Illicit drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are not to be taken to or consumed anywhere on this project.
5. I understand that no weaponry is to be taken. This includes all sharp items including art supplies.
6. I understand that any breakages or damage to the Tops Conference Center caused by my child’s carelessness or disregard will be passed on and I will be responsible for repair or replacement costs.
7. My child understands that he/she needs to follow any instruction given by AIPA staff members and supervisors.
8. My child understands that he/she is not to be in another student’s room/cabin for any reason or found out of their room after lights out.
9. My child understands that he/she is not to leave The Tops unless signed out by a parent or guardian. Sneaking out is a breach in our agreement and any child found missing will be reported to parents and or the police.
10. In consideration of the Australian Institute for Performing Arts in permitting my child to participate in this program and to engage in any activities related to the program, including, but not limited to, transport, practicing or playing/participating in that activity program, I hereby assume all of the risks associated with participation and agree to hold The Australian Institute for Performing Arts Pty Ltd it's employers, agents, representatives, coaches, crew and volunteers harmless from any negligence and all liability, actions, causes of action, debts, claims, or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise by, or in connection with their participation in any activities related to the Performing Arts Camp. The terms hereof shall serve as a release and assumption of risk for my heirs, estate, executor, administrator, assignees, and for all members of my family.
11. I consent to allow AIPA TDP, Performing Arts Camps and AIPA Pty Ltd, to use my child’s image, name and any photographs, sound and film recordings taken of them in rehearsals and on set for the promotion of this and future programs, services and initiatives to the media and to the general public and on social media.
12. In the case of a medical emergency, I hereby give permission to the Doctor/Dentist chosen by AIPA staff to secure proper treatment for and/or order hospitalization, injection, anesthetic, or surgery for my child. I understand that every effort will be made to contact the emergency contacts (listed above) prior to instituting such procedures.
13. I understand that enrolment is a legally binding agreement and I am responsible for full payment.
14. My child understands that if they are feeling unwell mentally and/or physically or know another cast member who is, they are to advise one of the AIPA supervisors immediately. I have explained to my child that they do not, nor should they, take on the problems of another child.
15. My child understands that they will not alter their appearance in any way during the project Eg) get any piercings, tattoos, haircuts etc. Camp is not the place for this.
16. My child understands that they must report a negative covid test 48 - 72 hours /PCR test before arriving at camp. Proof to be provided at camp check in
17. I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the terms and conditions stated above. I have explained the conditions to my child and they understand them and will abide by them. We understand the consequences of any breach.

11. I understand that I will be credited on IMDb and on the film and my image may appear on the film poster.
12. I understand that if I am feeling unwell mentally and/or physically or know another cast member who is, I will advise one of the AIPA supervisors immediately. I understand that I cannot and should not take on the problems of another student.
