Participants to meet at park opposite McEvoy Tavern and follow group guide Neil to detecting location. Demonstration by Neil on use of metal detectors. BBQ lunch & refreshments provided.
Please bring your metal detectors if you have one, otherwise Neil will provide Minelab detectors. Please bring digging equipment etc.
Persons 18 & over must carry a miners right license. Available from www.service.vic.gov.au/services/earth-resources $27/10y, If participants are found without a license, all finds belong to the crown.
