Terms and Conditions  −  SKIPPS DADS CAMP 2024

PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ IT ALL, IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT, ESPECIALLY FOR FIRST TIME ATTENDEES.

1. Please note that the Dad's Camp is a private event and NOT A SCHOOL EVENT or activity. The School and School staff have no involvement in, management of, or control over the Camp. School staff will not be in attendance at the Camp.

Given that the Camp is not an official school activity, Camp organisers are not in any way responsible for the supervision of or safety of children attending the Camp. AT ALL TIMES PARENTS AND CARERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for the supervision and safety of their children participating in the Camp weekend.

2. As such, there is NO INSURANCE, Working With Children checks etc etc. We're simply a bunch of parents taking our kids away for a weekend of fun and activities. You participate in everything at your own risk.

3. You are responsible for your own and your kids' behaviour and well being. That also applies if you're taking someone else's child.

4. IF YOUR KIDS ARE ON THE BEACH OR IN THE OCEAN, THEY MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AT LEAST ONE PARENT. If your kid has an accident it is your own responsibility.

5. If you have food allergies please let the event organisers know ASAP in the booking process or separately. This is really important if you or your child is ANAPHYLACTIC.

6. We should have a number of medical professionals in our group and will confirm details closer to the camp.

7. The campsite has a SPEED LIMIT of 5km.

8. Get involved - we will circulate a roster via email requesting volunteers to assist various activities to ensure camp runs smoothly and fun for all. Don't be shy, we need all the help we can get!

9. The campsite is quite large and there will be other campers on-site, therefore please be mindful of our neighbours and noise. We have been asked to REDUCE ANY LOUD MUSIC on Friday & Saturday evening at 10pm. Security will be on-site to enforce the noise curfew. Let's start off on a good footing with the site managers and be respectful of other guests at all times. Thanks.

10. There are bins provided around the campsite, please ensure you manage rubbish responsibly to keep our area of the campsite clean and tidy for the weekend.

11. Around the campsite there are several fire-pits which are used during the evenings. Please ensure the younger kids in the group are supervised around the fire-pits at all times... don't forget to bring plenty of marshmallows for toasting!

12. HAVE FUN AND LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. Let's make it fun for the kids and big kids alike. We'll be issuing wristbands again to help all of us recognise those in our party and help with some of the food/activities.
