While this event is in relative comfort for a detecting trip, you will require: A well equipped 4WD, Detecting Snacks and BYO drinks for the evenings, UHF radios, Sturdy (non metallic) hiking boots, a hydration pack (camelback style), a torch with a red light  to preserve Night vision (NightSkySecrets can help with this) , The App “Australian Geology” loaded on your phone & a sense of adventure :-)
There are some Bio Security requirements from the station around vehicle cleaning  & online  registration which we detail.
