Fashions on the Field:
How does the competition work?
Each entrant will walk the runway for a panel of judges. The judges will critique and score each entrant on their Autumn racewear styling and runway personality. Depending on the number of entrants, we may announce a series of finalists who will take to the runway for a second time for another round of judging. There will be a first prize winner, a runner-up and a best Millinery.
What is the judging criteria?
Both categories will be judged on style and originality, attention to detail and cohesiveness, interpretation of current fashion trends, grooming and deportment. In keeping with the sophistication of racewear, outfits should avoid excessive skin exposure, short hems and plunging necklines. Headwear is strongly encouraged in both categories.
