Welcome to WHORL - Mandurah Arts Festival 2024

This is going to be a wonderful seated dance performance!

1. Once you register for this event, you will be sent a link to the choreography and instructions to help you learn safely and in your own time and space.

2. Attending the Community Rehearsal - Sunday September 29th 10 - 12noon is compulsory. Please wear clothes that are comfortable for you and that are bright, block colours - no patterns, no white, no black.

3. When you attend the Community Rehearsal, you will meet the creative team - choreographer, scenic designer and dancer-guides. And together we will rehearse the work.

4. During the Community Rehearsal, you will be issued with a design element for the performance. And after the rehearsal, we will walk over the the performance area - to perform for the first time.

5. Perform the dance you have learnt and rehearsed....creating our very own WHORL magic.

7. If you register, and then are unable to continue the process, please let the Creative Team know via email to lifespan.dance@gmail.com.

8. By registering you are agreeing to be photographed and filmed as part of the documentation of the WHORL creative process and performances and give your permission for Lifespan Dance and the City of Mandurah to use the images and footage to promote future performances.
