TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. I understand that for my child to attend the ROBO HUBs/Experiment LABs program – a device such as a tablet / PC is used and will be provided for their use by SYPHER SPACE during the session. The models are shared and created amongst 2 students. We may allow a student to make their own independent model if our teachers deem it to be best learning method.
2. Cancellation Policy: I understand that there are no refunds offered after the commencement of classes.
3. CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER - If your are using Creative Kids voucher, please ensure that it is a current voucher and for the child named in the booking.
KINDLY NOTE: If Promo code is not applied and full payment is made, SYPHER SPACE will not use the CK voucher and as such, your voucher can be used elsewhere. Refunds will not be applied in these circumstances.
Any Promo codes are to be used in conjunction with the Creative Kids voucher. Incorrect use of the the voucher or promo code will result in booking being cancelled and admin fees apply. You may also chose to pay the balance and continue with the program.
Service NSW does not allow for refunds for Creative Kids vouchers as the vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
4. Missed Class Policy: I understand that SYPHER SPACE is unable to offer make up classes, refunds or discounts for missed classes. This ensures that SYPHER SPACE can maintain a stable learning environment for all students with minimum class disruptions. Venues and teachers are also hired based on full term periods.
◦ I understand that if SYPHER SPACE is not able to run a session due to unavoidable/unforeseen circumstances, I will be offered a makeup class or provided a pro-rata refund/credit.
◦ I understand if my child cannot attend a session due to personal reasons or any other commitments, credits or refunds will not be issued. Any credits/refunds if issued will be on case by case basis and at the discretion of the SYPHER SPACE management.
◦ I understand if my child cannot attend a session due to medical reason, I can request a credit upon providing a medical certificate from GP.
5. The minimum enrollment period is one term or as per the program. For new students joining after the start of a term, fees will be charged pro-rata.
6. I agree to inform SYPHER SPACE when any details previously stated on the enrollment form have changed during the year. In particular contact details, health issues and emergency contact details.
7. I acknowledge and agree that SYPHER SPACE, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excludes all liability for any loss, damage or other claim arising from or in any way connected to the attendance of my child/children at SYPHER SPACE, including without limitation claims relating to personal injury.
8. I hereby release and forever discharge SYPHER SPACE from any and all liability, loss and damage (including direct, indirect and consequential) or any other claim in anyway associated with the attendance of my child/children at SYPHER SPACE classes.
9. In case of accidental injury or incident, I authorize any necessary medical treatment and agree to cover any expenses that may be incurred.
10. I understand that payments for each term must be made in full before the 1st session has commenced. Refund will be provided only before the session commences and $20 admin charge may apply.
11. I accept that SYPHER SPACE reserves the right to cancel or change the timetable and pricing structure at any point in time. Class times, duration & locations may vary depending on final numbers.
12. I accept that SYPHER SPACE reserves the right to refuse admission to any person that presents a disciplinary problem to staff or a threat to the safety and well being of other children. Unacceptable language, physical altercations or bullying will under no circumstances be tolerated and will result in the child being removed from the class with no refund or Pro-rata refund at SYPHER SPACE discretion.
13. I accept that SYPHER SPACE will discuss the respective child’s behaviour issues with the parent/guardian. If inappropriate behaviour continues and poses threat, harm or continued disruption to others, the student will be asked to leave the program.
14. I acknowledge that my personal information will be stored in accordance with current privacy legislation.
15. I warrant that my child has not at any time suffered blackout, seizure, convulsion, fainting, dizzy spells or any other medical condition and is not presently receiving treatment for any illness, disorder or injury which would render it unsafe for my child to take part in SYPHER SPACE classes.
16. I acknowledge that based upon local laws, as a parent, I might have a duty of constant presence for my child during the sessions to meet the child safety or duty of care guidelines. I release SYPHER SPACE from any disputes and legal repercussions arising from neglect of these laws from my side.
17. I agree to pay $600 plus GST if my child damages the LEGO kit. Any damage will be duly assessed and parent will be informed.
18. Drop off and pick up to class: Students are only supervised by a SYPHER SPACE teacher during their actual lesson time. I understand that as a parent/guardian I am required to supervise my child once they leave the sessions. All students participating in the session must assemble at the assembly point (will be notified) before the beginning of every program or term. You must pick your child from the venue at the session ending time - this applies to after school sessions only.
19. We are unable to offer make up classes, refunds or discounts for missed classes. This ensures we can maintain a stable learning environment for all students with minimum class disruptions. Please contact us at admin@sypherspace.com.au to discuss your scenario.
20. We are not a qualified child care but an after-school club. Please ensure that your child is dropped and picked on time. We will take an attendance and endeavor to inform un-notified absences to the school. We are not responsible if your child decides to forget or skip the session - this applies to after school sessions only.
21. The Models might repeat if your child is enrolled with the program for more than one year.
22. We will endeavor to, but do not guarantee, offer a make-up session in case of a public holiday or school day off - this applies to school term sessions only.
23. Any special requests or discounts other than Creative Kids, please contact us on admin@sypherspace.com.au
24. SYPHER SPACE can use the photos and videos of the students on it's website, Facebook or any other social media platform if permission to take photos and videos box is ticked YES.
25. Students are not permitted to bring their own Lego blocks or devices. At the end of each session, each team will pack their kits and return them to the teachers along with the tablets. Students are not permitted to take photos or make videos in the class.
26. TIMEZONE tickets (if lucky draw is available) are valued at $35 each and 2 winners will be announced at each location. Each winner will receive 1 ticket valued at $35.00. At each location you also have a chance to win a surprise LEGO gift. There are total of 8 prizes to be won.

27. Parent Refer and Receive Offer (if available) -please see program details page for more information. You are only eligible if you have made the booking for your child and credits cannot be used to offset the current program. Credits are applicable for future programs only.
Please ensure that any parent you refer to our program, adds your full name in the referral section of the booking page.
28. Online coding programs - we use Scratch 3.0 coding platform. Use of tablets is not recommended as some functionality may not work. Software and game sprites are to be downloaded prior to the start of the sessions. Online coding will be done via Zoom.
