I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the Silent Disco Walking Tour organised by the Rogue Scholar. In consideration of being permitted to participate in this tour, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risks: I understand that the Silent Disco Walking Tour involves walking on public streets, visiting various venues, and wearing headphones throughout the duration of the tour. I am aware that there are inherent risks associated with participating in such activities, including but not limited to the possibility of accidents, injuries, and loss of personal belongings.
Personal Responsibility: I accept full responsibility for my own behaviour and actions during the Silent Disco Walking Tour. I understand that the Rogue Scholar and its representatives shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from my own actions or the actions of other participants.
Careful Navigation: I acknowledge that wearing headphones during the tour may impair my ability to hear sounds from the surrounding environment, including traffic, pedestrians, and other potential hazards. I agree to exercise caution and be mindful of my surroundings at all times while wearing headphones, especially when walking on public walkways or crossing streets.
Compliance with Venue Policies: I understand that the Silent Disco Walking Tour may include visits to various venues, and I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies set forth by these venues. I acknowledge that the Rogue Scholar is not responsible for any issues or incidents that may occur at these venues and that any complaints or concerns should be directed to the respective venue's management.
Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Silent Disco Walking Tour, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Rogue Scholar, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the Rogue Scholar or otherwise.
Medical Conditions and Emergency Contact: I declare that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the Silent Disco Walking Tour. If I have any medical conditions or concerns that may affect my participation, I have informed the Rogue Scholar in advance. I also agree to provide emergency contact information, which will be kept confidential and used only in case of an emergency.
I have read this waiver carefully, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to be bound by its terms. I acknowledge that this waiver shall be binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
