By making any booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Booking Terms and Conditions. These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to any bookings you make with us by any means including via any booking portal, booking app’, online, over the phone, by email, or in person.
1. This ticket is proof of purchase of the above event and must be presented at the time of admission – and/or your full booking name provided.
2. Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
3. All bookings are subject to a first come first served basis.
4. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, refunds are not available for change of mind or if you are no longer available to attend. Refunds will be carefully considered for extenuating circumstances at the discretion of Women in Automotive. For extenuating circumstances please email us for consideration events@womeninautomotive.com.au No refunds will be provided within 48 hours of the event.
5. Subject to Australian Consumer Law, you are not entitled to a refund if you did not enjoy the event, are no longer able to attend the event for no reason or arrive late and believe you missed too much of the event or mixed up your dates/times of the event.
6. This ticket is transferable but you must email us [within 48 hours of the event] to advise of change of guest name and any applicable dietary requirements to events@womeninautomotive.com.au
7. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.
8. This ticket may be valid as a tax invoice or receipt in the case of registrations or other event payments.
9. All purchases are in Australian dollars ($AUD).
10. Any fees or costs associated with the method of payment will be solely borne by the purchaser.
11. This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.
12. As the Event Organiser hosting this event, Women in Automotive is solely responsible for matters pertaining to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact us via email events@womeninautomotive.com.au
13. The safety of our guests is our first priority. Any persons who are noisy, drunk, threatening or unruly will be asked to leave the premises, and will not be eligible for a refund.
14. Every guest attends an event at their own risk. Women in Automotive is not liability for any claim, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether indirect or direct, arising from or relating to:
a) any loss, injury or damage to any person or guest at an event (save for death or personal injury caused directly by Women in Automotive’s negligence);
b) personal arrangements and expenditure, including travel, accommodation, hospitality and other costs undertaken or incurred by any guest;
c) any loss of enjoyment or amenity, including where an event has been cancelled, rescheduled or altered;
d) any act or omission by any venue or any employee, contractor or officer of any venue;
e) any denial of entry to, or removal from, any venue;
f) loss of or damage to personal property taken to an event; or
g) transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases which may be transmitted at an event.
15. Where liability cannot be excluded by law the maximum liability that Women in Automotive will have to any guest or purchaser is the face value of the event booking purchased.
16. Women in Automotive is not liable for seating arrangements or dietary requirements of any guests, Women in Automotive will provide seating and dietary requirements to the relevant venue and is not liable for any error made in relation to same.
17. Nothing in these Booking Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any condition, warranty, right or liability which may not be lawfully excluded or limited.
18. All guests must comply with the relevant conditions for entry at the venue of any event.
19. The event organiser has all rights to film, photo and video production of this event. Should you not wish to appear in any of the above please see a staff member at the event and advise on arrival
20. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to all patrons. If the event is moved to a new date due to extenuating circumstances all patrons will be offered a refund or to carry over their ticket to the new date.
21. You consent to t\he collection of your data from this event being disclosed to event partners for the purpose of delivering the event, as well as being used for marketing purposes only for the lead up to this event and to send you post event information by Women in Automotive. We will then cease contacting you via this information unless you have signed up separately to Women in Automotive to hear from us. At no point will your data be given to third parties, although you may receive information from us regarding our event partners during the event period only. You may opt out and withdraw your consent for this at any time.
22.Service of any information or notice by email on the booking contact associated with any event booking shall be deemed effective service on each and every guest associated with that booking contact.
If any provision of these Booking Terms and Conditions is deemed to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Booking Terms and Conditions, which will remain in full force and effect.
23. These terms shall be governed by the laws of Victoria. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria to determine any matter or disputer which arises under these terms.
