2024 POPPY BALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Event Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your purchase of tickets for RSL LifeCare Limited’s (RSL LifeCare) Poppy Ball charity fundraising event (Event).
1) The Event is a fundraising ball which will be held on 23 November at Victoria Barracks, Moore Park Rd, Paddington.
2) The Event is a fundraiser for the event organiser, RSL LifeCare which is a charity which supports veterans and their families, and funds raised will be applied across RSL LifeCare’s Veteran Services initiatives.
3) Your ticket is proof of purchase for entrance to the Event and must be presented at the time of admission.
4) This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased.
5) Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
6) Please choose carefully as subject to clause 7 there are no refunds once the ticket is purchased.
7) The Event is being held in a location (Premises) belonging to the Australian Defence Force which may for operational reasons become unavailable for the Event at any time. If the Premises becomes unavailable for the Event, you will be notified of the cancellation of the Event and you will be entitled, at your option to:
a) a refund of the ticket price only (TryBooking’s booking fee is non-refundable); or
b) waive your right to a refund and donate the value of your ticket purchase to RSL LifeCare for use in RSL LifeCare’s Veteran Services initiatives.
8) RSL LifeCare reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason and you agree to abide by the rules of the Premises concerning activities, smoking, noise and alcohol.
9) This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.
10) As RSL LifeCare is hosting this event, RSL LifeCare Limited is responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact RSL LifeCare Limited.
11) Proof of age or concession card may be requested.
12) Tickets cannot be on-sold by any means at a price greater than the purchase price of the ticket.
13) Responsible service of alcohol rules will apply and any persons who are noisy, drunk, threatening or unruly will be asked to leave the Premises and will not be entitled to any refund.
14) You acknowledge that in the course of the Event, photographs, film and audio recordings (Content) may be taken of you. You consent to RSL LifeCare using your name, likeness, image and or voice in the Content for the purpose of promoting our events and services and agree that no remuneration is payable for such use. RSL LifeCare has all rights to the Content and you agree to assign the Content containing images, film or audio of you to RSL LifeCare to be published, used or kept in any way for any purpose and may be provided to third parties for use in connection with RSL LifeCare.
15) Your personal information collected for this ticket and at the Event will be held in accordance with RSL Life Care’s Privacy Policy (available at https://rsllifecare.org.au/about-us/privacy/ ) and may be used to provide updates and information in relation to further fundraising activities of RSL LifeCare. You can opt out of any such use of your details at any time by sending an email to privacy@rsllifecare.org.au.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
