All participants must be signed-in and signed-out by a parent or guardian. Emergency contact details need to be provided at drop-off.
We will need to know allergy/medical/condition information to provide the best care of your child on the day. This information can be filled in the booking form or emailed to community@kanyanawildlife.org.au. Animals and animal food (including nuts) are present onsite. While we try to avoid direct contact with allergens we have been notified of, participants may enter areas or come into contact with surfaces that have been exposed to allergens. You must provide food for the participant, as food is not provided as part of the program. Please also bring a water bottle, enclosed shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. This program includes the opportunity for participants to get close to wildlife. Age-appropriate safety instructions are provided to reduce the risk of injury/illness, alongside program leader supervision. Program leaders are first-aid trained and program participation indicates that you consent for them to provide first aid if deemed necessary. Leaders may decide not to proceed with a particular encounter should they feel it is unsafe for the animal or participants. If a participant’s behaviour puts themselves, animals or others at risk, or they are unable to complete the program for any reason, the emergency contact will be contacted and required to collect the participant in a timely manner. In the case of unsafe behaviour, no refund will be offered. In the event of a bushfire/emergency the program leaders will follow the relevant emergency plans, which may include evacuation and require adults to collect participants. In the case of emergencies outside of Kanyana's control, refunds cannot be guaranteed.
Tickets are non-refundable except in extenuating circumstances. A no-show on the day shall result in the ticket being forfeit.
