1. General Advice. Attendees should make their own accommodation arrangements well in advance, as other events can cause local shortages. An online search engine will yield many results. Be aware of cancelation policies.
2.Arriving. Attendees will make their own private way to the greater venue area. You are invited to use a trip calculator to estimate their travel time for various stages of the journey. Registrations will open from 6:30 pm on the Wednesday.
3. Refunds for inability to attend may be possible by application up to the conference day depending on Catering commitments.
4. Tickets are transferrable on application and confirmation of attendee list adjustment.
5. Afternoon tea is included on the Thursday and Friday.
6. Evening meals are included for Full Payment Adult Tickets on Thursday and Friday, and special diet considerations would need to be negotiated with the host church. It may be more practical to prepare your own evening meal and inquire about a special ticket without the evening meal in some cases.
7.Any Child Tickets may be available on application and do include the evening meal. Child Tickets are made available once the host church has confirmed a program for children.
7a. In the case of children with a particular diet, medicinal, allergy or behavioral needs these should be communicated separately by contacting victas@crm.org.au. In the event that these needs cannot be catered to due to Church staffing numbers, or training et cetera, and or the needs were not specified adequately, the Church team may be unable to admit the child for duty of care reasons.
7b. In the event that a child becomes a risk to themselves or others such that the Church team becomes unable to accept responsibility for them, the parent agrees to collect the child, or be with them as the case may be.
8. Infants (6months to 5 years old) and Children's sessions (6 to 11 years old) are provided on any respective Tickets during all sessions, only if the host church is able to provide a suitable team; it would be advisable to contact the administrator to keep updated on the likelihood of this in these times at victas@crm.org.au.
9.Parents will sign children out during larger breaks or otherwise as required by the Team for whatever reason. In the event that there are sessions that are unable to be covered with care, children are permitted in the sessions to be seated peacefully with their parents in the main auditorium or under the supervision of a parent in a less formal video link area if available.
10. Evening sessions are Open to the public after 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start or as directed by the staff.
11. Attendees are reminded to keep their valuables on their person and within their control at all times.
12. The host church risk management provisions will be in force and attendees are asked to follow the instructions on any such matter that may be given by an official of the Church. 13. The guest speaker and the program available on registration may be varied at the discretion of the CRC State committee e.g. due to the availability and health etc. of key participants.
