a) The Associations’ and Promoter’s right to amend or vary any times as printed in the official “Order of Play,’
b) Participation in: the Massed Band for bands registered with the Association in Grades, 4A, 4B, 3, 2 and 1. Non-
competing bands, registered with the Association may join the Massed Band.
c) The Association's and Promoter’s right to refuse any entry without giving reason.
d) The consumption of alcohol whilst forming up for, and during massed bands, is prohibited until after the massed band has been
dismissed by the Senior Drum Major.
e)) The requirements of Rule A.1.08.01 (acceptable behaviour) apply throughout the day of the contest.
f) Confirms the band is covered for Public Liability Insurance.
g) If your band is registered in Victoria, you confirm that your band holds a Child Safety Policy.
h) Entry fees for entries withdrawn after the closing date for late entries will be forfeited.
i) Band members, volunteers and attendees attend and participate at their own risk, acknowledge that participation may involve
physical exertion and that individuals are solely responsible for their own level of fitness and personal ability to participate.
j) Agree to the attending first aid provider to provide first aid if it is deemed reasonable and necessary under the circumstances.
k) Confirms the promoter is not responsible for the security of personal belongings.
l) Confirms the promoter and / or PBV may use a band or participant’s name, image or performance to promote the event via any form
of media.

Preparation for the day:
* Bands are reminded to acquaint themselves all requirements relating to registration of players, lodgement of entries and music
requirements for all elements to be conducted at contests. This includes notifying the Association and furnishing any documentation
required for Registered Tutors, Dual Registered Players, and Interchange Players.
* All further information relating to the Pipe Band contest and Massed Bands will be issued in the Contest Draw.
* One Band Representative only to sign-in at the PBV tent by the appointed time at each contest. Same band representative to sign and collect all crit sheets.
* Bands are to follow directions from the Contest Supervisor or representatives, including PBV Marshals.
* Band Representatives are to be on hand during presentations to collect trophies or certificates.
