WAY OF WONDER – Theology of the Body Family Event with Bill Donaghy
The Way of Wonder (Event) is presented by the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney (Archdiocese) in partnership with the Theology of the Body Institute.
In times we are living in? Depressed and desensitized, over-stimulated and over-stressed, we need to return to living in child-like wonder! It is not an option, but an essential. We are called to rekindle our amazement at the gift and beauty of human sexuality, the theology of our bodies, and the extraordinary miracle of every ordinary experience in life.
Join Bill for a 2.5 hour immersive experience of the mind, heart, and senses as we explore a mosaic of classical and contemporary art, music, and theological reflections that will open us to wonder again! Bill leads the audience on a journey through the beauty of the natural world and its connection to the Creator. Let’s find our way home again to the beauty of being human!
“We must wonder! … Wonder is needed so that beauty might enter into human life, society and the nation. We need to marvel at everything that is found in man.” - St. John Paul II
The Event will take place on Saturday, 18 January 2024 at St Joachim Catholic Parish, 2 Mills St, Lidcombe from 6:45pm-9:30pm (doors open from 6:45pm).
