“GRDC is committed to responsible and fair handling of your personal information consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect your data to facilitate your attendance at NGN forums and receive any further communications from GRDC related to those forums. The sort of personal information we will collect includes name, address, telephone and email contact details. We collect this information from you when you register to attend an NGN forum or subscribe online for GRDC newsletters.

We may use your personal information for a purpose that is different to the original reason we collected it. For example, where we carry out further research, surveys or consultation on our NGN activities. We may disclose that information to contractors that assist GRDC in hosting NGN forums or conduct NGN related surveys or further consultation and research activities.

At anytime you may opt out of receiving additional GRDC related communication activities and survey activities. You may do that by editing your subscription and selecting your preferred option at Subscribe to GRDC communications - GRDC or sending an email to privacy@grdc.com.au (the GRMs handle forum logistics directly and are the first point of contact most times)

Most of our information is collected or received directly from the person concerned and is used for its intended purpose.
