1) REFUNDS - ALL tickets are unfortunately NON-REFUNDABLE due to high upfront costs, which are also non-refundable
2) NDIS - Parents/Carers - The NDIS may or may not reimburse you for Conference registration fee via your child's plan, using your payment receipt, however due to ever-changing rules, this is not predictable nor guaranteed & we are unable to accept any liability for this. Unfortunately we are UNABLE TO ISSUE INVOICES in advance for payment by Plan Managers - sorry. ALL registrations require upfront payment. As a small group of volunteer parents who also work & care full-time we don't have capacity to respond to requests or enquiries on this issue.
3) CONCESSIONS - We hope to offer a number of fully funded scholarship places &/or reduced rate registrations for recipients of Disability Support Pension, Carer's Payment (not Carer's Allowance), & Parenting Payment. However, the grants we applied for to enable this will take a few months to process . If grant applications unsuccessful, we will still offer a limited number of substantially reduced price Concession registrations for DSP, CP & PP recipients - to access these you'll need to provide both proof of receipt of pension payment & valid photo ID in same name. More details to be provided. Places have been reserved for this ticket category.
4) ACCESS/ACCOMMODATIONS - Please advise us if you have any physical ACCESSIBILITY requirements (lifts & w/c access bathrooms available) &/or require any ACCOMMODATIONS (eg sensory preferences, Auslan, dietary requirements/other). We have arranged Sensory Rooms/Quiet Spaces away from main conference room & will do everything possible to make this event neuroaffirming for a more enjoyable and less stressful experience. We look forward to receiving your requests and will notify you of the options available after liaison with venue in the coming months.
5) PROF DEVELOPMENT CREDIT - If you are either a medical/allied health/education professional, and ALSO the parent of a young person with a PDA profile, AND you elect to register as a parent, you will not be issued with a Certificate of Attendance and are unable to use your receipt to claim credit or points for your continuing professional development. If you register as a professional by purchasing a Professional category ticket, you will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance. You may be able to use this for CPD points, to claim a tax deduction (with the TryBooking receipt), or to request reimbursement from your employer.
6) By purchasing registration/tickets to this event you agree to receive communications from Event Organisers
7) We reserve the right to add, withdraw, or substitute speakers & topics throughout the duration of the conference. Changes to the program and speaker panel are beyond our control and subject to the fluctuating capacity of our panel.
