It is a requirement that all who join this program have the following
- Intermediate knowledge of sailing
- For skippers/boat owners, you need to be able to berth and have good boat handling knowledge
- Have some knowledge and strong interest in weather, tides, basic navigation and radio operations
- Navionics Software on a tablet or iPad
- Boat owners/skippers will need to get their boats to Cat 4+ and this will be covered very early in the BTB course.
- Need to be a member of the ORCV or an Australian Sailing-affiliated club
As part of the program, ORCV will provide you with electronic copies of the slides and other material. This remains the Intellectual Property of the ORCV and the individual authors. This material is provided for your and your crew's information. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree not to forward training material on to 3rd parties without ORCV's written permission.
During the program, the ORCV will take photographs of competitors and participants which will be used for promotional purposes of the ORCV. All images remain the right of the ORCV and can be used for promotional purposes of the ORCV activities.
Once the program has commenced, there is no refund on bookings.
