TERM 1: RISK WARNING AND WAIVER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Your participation in the recreational activities supplied by “Amigos do Volei” may involve risk. The risks involved may result in personal injury including death. Prior to undertaking any such recreational activity, you should ensure you are aware of all of the risks involved, including those risks associated with any health condition you may have. (Amigos do Volei is not a club or association. It is a group of people with interest in volleyball as a sport).

By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge, agree, and understand that participation in the recreational services provided by Amigos do Volei event promoters / volunteers may involve risk. You agree and undertake any such risk voluntarily and at your own risk. You also acknowledge that the risk warning above constitutes a 'risk warning' in accordance with relevant legislation, including the Civil Liability Act 1936 (SA).

Further, by proceeding I/we agree with the following:

a. If I/we get involved in an accident, become ill or otherwise require medical treatment or care, I understand that Amigos do volei event promoters or volunteers will not be responsible for this I/we must pay all expenses incurred in obtaining medical treatment or care.
b. I/we will not consume alcohol and/or drugs prohibited by law before or while participating and that I/we will not attempt to participate in any event/activity while under the influence of alcohol, drugs prohibited by law or any prescription drugs that may affect my/our ability to participate.
c. any participant under the age of eighteen years under my control as a parent/legal guardian will be suitably mounted in line with the minor/child’s experience and ability and that suitable equipment in good repair will be used at all times. Declaration and Signature I have read carefully and understand this risk warning and waiver of liability and sign it freely and voluntarily without inducement of any kind.

TERM 2: PLAYERS’ CODE OF CONDUCT

By joining AMIGOS' sessions I am committed to:

1) At all times:
• Be a good sport;
• Play for enjoyment;
• Work hard for my team as well as myself;
• Treat all team mates and opponents as I enjoy being treated myself;
• Play by the rules;
• Cooperate with teams and AMIGOS' committee;
• Control my Conduct and my temper during the sessions;

2) During the games:
• Talk to my captain or to a committee member, if I have any questions or I am not feeling comfortable;
• Set to everyone or reminder the setter to set to everyone so all players have a try;
• Give teammates the chance to receive and defend so everyone can develop;
• Keep playing and encouraging teammates even if my team is losing;
• Call dead ball if you are unsure if the ball was in, out, if someone touched the net or the block, etc;
• Not cross the courts to save a ball, to avoid injuries;
• Communicate with my team and get a break if I feel upset, unwell or need time to breathe, recover;
• Comply with any further instructions given by the committee;

I am totally aware of this player's code of conduct and I am committed to follow it. In case of breach of this code, I understand that I may not be allowed to join future sessions.
