By becoming a lifetime member of the alumni association alumni acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions regarding membership benefits, discounts, event participation, and promotional offers.
1. **Non-Refundable: ** All contributions made by alumni to Suzanne Cory High School are non-refundable. Once a donation or contribution is made, it cannot be reversed or refunded.
2. **Membership Benefits: ** Lifetime Alumni membership includes a complimentary ticket to your first reunion following your membership commencement date, unless specified otherwise as part of a promotional offer or special arrangement.
3. **Lifetime Membership Discounts: ** Lifetime members of the alumni association will receive discounts on future alumni events. The discount amount will be determined by the event organizers and may vary based on factors such as event type, location, and associated costs. Discounts will be communicated to lifetime members prior to event registration.
4. **Role of Lifetime Members: ** Lifetime members are encouraged to actively participate in alumni student engagement opportunities and contribute their expertise, experiences, and resources to benefit current students. Their support and involvement play a crucial role in enriching the student experience and fostering a strong alumni-student community connection.
5. **Flexibility in Program Implementation: ** The school or alumni association acknowledges that the audience or needs of student programs may vary, requiring flexibility in program implementation. While priority is given to lifetime members, decisions regarding alumni involvement in student initiatives will be made based on the best interests of the school, students, and overall program objectives.
6. **Membership Renewal: ** Alumni lifetime memberships do not expire unless explicitly stated or revoked due to violations of membership terms. Alumni may be required to update their details periodically to maintain access to benefits and privileges, as determined by the alumni association or school administration.
7. **Event Participation: ** Alumni lifetime members agree to abide by the rules, guidelines, and expectations set forth by the school or alumni association when participating in alumni events, including reunions, workshops, seminars, and social gatherings. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in the revocation of membership privileges and attendance rights.
8. **Changes to Membership Benefits: ** The school or alumni association reserves the right to modify or update membership benefits, including discounts and event access, with advance notice to alumni. Changes will be communicated through official channels such as newsletters, emails, or the alumni page on the School’s website.
9. **Use of Personal Details: ** Lifetime alumni members understand and agree that their personal details provided during registration, including but not limited to name, contact information, and graduation year, may be used by school employees or representatives of the alumni association for the following purposes:
- Communication: Alumni details may be used to communicate with them regarding school events, alumni activities, fundraising efforts, and other relevant information.
- Alumni Representation: Personal details may be used to identify alumni as representatives of Suzanne Cory High School for alumni-related activities, promotions, or publications.
- Fundraising and Development: Alumni information may be used for fundraising and development purposes, such as donor recognition, alumni outreach, and solicitation of contributions.
- Alumni Directory: Personal details may be included in an alumni directory, accessible to other alumni, faculty, and staff, for networking and community-building purposes.
