Terms and Conditions  −  Esk Show Chainsaw Racing 2025 - Event Registration

Special Regulations
1. Entry subject to Rules and By-laws of the Association, Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and Australian Axemen’s Association.
2. A person is not eligible to enter a Chainsaw Event unless the Entry Form is accompanied by a copy of a document that certifies that the person has been formally accredited or licensed by an appropriate organisation to use a Chainsaw. The Committee has complete discretion to assess the appropriateness of the accrediting organisation.
3. Full Personal Protective Equipment must be worn during all chainsaw events.
4. Chainsaws must be visually standard as per manufacturer’s specifications and in a safe operating condition.
5. The chainsaw must have a chain brake fitted.
6. All axes and sledgehammers must have their heads pinned for safety.
7. Modified Production Saws only.
8. Due to our insurance under the Esk Show Society, standard fuels are only to be used.
9. All Amateur competitors must have an accredited or licensed spotter whilst operating a chainsaw. A copy of the certificate must be included with the entry form.
10. A copy of the certificate must be included with the entry booking, via to secretary@eskshow .com.au (NO certificate, NO competing.)
11. Competitors only will receive a pass into the show.

Classes:
1. Single person (woman/man) open Post Rip - Open to Modified Saws (Limit 8 Competitors)
2. Amateur 2 Person Old Timer Post Rip - Standard Saws only (Limit 6 Teams)
Open to 1 competitor over the age of 50 and 1 competitor under the age of 50 (Would suit father-mother/son-daughter). Younger only allowed to split.
3. Amateur Jack & Jill Rip – Standard Saws only (Limit 8 Teams)
4. Amateur 3 (woman/man) Post Rip. – 2 Billets, Standard Saws only (Limit 6 Teams)
5. Amateur ‘Andy Daniells Memorial’ Ironman Event – Post Rip, Post Stack and Speed (Limit 8 Competitors)
