- Entries are via Trybooking only and close when classes reach 25 students per class or at 8AM Tuesday 1 April
- The entry fee is non-refundable for change-of-mind, bookings are not transferable and late entries cannot be accepted.
- A refund is only available if a written request is made to the event organiser and accompanied by a medical certificate prior to 5:00pm on the day prior to the Intensive start date, outlining that the student can no longer attend.
- The Academy reserves the right to alter the advertised program, faculty, venue and/or method of delivery without prior notice. The information in this and other printed or electronic brochures/notices was correct at the time of publication.
- If the activity is cancelled full refunds will be paid.
- Students should attend all classes for their level, and part-payment or part- refunds are not possible for any days missed.
- Ideally students attending the Intensive should have a sound knowledge of the syllabus and their chosen dance and variations, however this is not a pre-requisite. Students are welcome to attend if they can copy/follow along with the other students and don’t expect to be taught the syllabus – this course is for coaching.
- Students are to wear examination attire in all classes, and props should be brought and used for dances where applicable (character shoes and skirts, pointe shoes, half tutus).
- Students must be in street attire and shoes before they leave the venue.
- RAD should be notified in writing of any medical conditions when enrolling students in the Intensive. Students participate at their own risk.
- It is the student’s and/or parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to ensure all appropriate medical and health arrangements are in place for the student prior to attendance at the course.
- In the event of a medical emergency, RAD staff will obtain medical assistance as required.
- By entering this Intensive participants agree that they may appear in photographic images taken during the Intensive that may be used for promotional and/or reporting purposes, unless they inform RAD otherwise.
- The RAD has safeguarding policy and procedures in place. Some physical contact may be necessary by a member of the faculty to demonstrate exercises or if a member of staff needs to administer first aid. Students attending do so at their own risk.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for students’ travel to and from the venue. Students must be collected by a Parent/Guardian immediately after the completion of their class. Should you give your child permission to leave the venue without parent supervision, please notify Event Organiser.
- Teachers attending the Teacher Viewing must not talk or distract the teacher and/or students during the class or take away from the primary delivery of the course.
- The purpose of this event is to offer a valuable experience that rewards, encourages and inspires young students to continue pursuing their passion for dance. Our expectation is that all involved (RAD staff, teachers, volunteers, candidates, and family members) adhere to our Codes of Conduct.
