As a condition of enrolment, all participants agree to adhere to the following policies and procedures:
1. Respect and Conduct:
o Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of fellow participants, coaches, and officials.
o Bullying, aggression, and inappropriate behaviours are not tolerated.
2. Equipment Care:
o Treat all equipment with care and respect.
3. Field of Play:
o Participants are required to wear appropriate clothing for physical training and for sparring practice – full fencing protective uniform, glove, and mask must be worn.
4. Health and Safety:
o The safety and well-being of our participants are paramount. All participants will receive training in safety and fencing etiquette at the start of each program. Compliance with safety policies is mandatory.
5. Media and Privacy:
o By enrolling in the Learn to Fencing program, participants authorize UTS Fencing to use their images for promotional purposes, including social media.
o Participants wishing to take photos or videos during the class must obtain approval from their coach and other class participants.
6. Refund and Makeup Policy:
o Fees are non-refundable after the commencement of the program
o. There are no makeup sessions for missed classes.
7. Schedule Adjustments:
o UTS Fencing reserves the right to adjust the training schedule or cancel program. In case where the Learn to fence program is cancelled, a refund will be provided.
