For all students to enjoy their sporting experiences, the following code of conduct is expected to be followed by all students. Failure to abide by this code will result in students losing their privilege to participate where appropriate.

Players’ and Athletes’ Code of Conduct:
Players and athletes are expected to:
• Be modest in success and generous in defeat, not showing in either case undue emotion;
• Acknowledge, willingly and openly, good play by either school and outstanding performances by other competitors;
• Be a good sport;
• Play for enjoyment;
• Play by the rules;
• Cooperate with team and game officials;
• Control their behaviour, language and gestures on and off the field;
• Work hard for their team as well as themselves;
• Strive for personal excellence;
• Treat all team mates and opponents as they would like to be treated;
• Learn to value honest effort, skilled performance and improvement.
