EVENT ORGANISER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
You must read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing ticket/s. By purchasing ticket/s, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not intend to be bound by the terms and conditions, you should not go ahead with the purchase. For any inquiries, please contact the Event Organiser directly.
2. TICKET PURCHASE AND USE
2.1. This ticket is proof of purchase of the above event and must be presented at the time of admission.
2.2. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.
2.3. You should not share your ticket as these are barcode enabled rickets. One ticket will be valid for SINGLE ENTRY to our event. Copying, duplicating, forging, or electronic tampering is strictly prohibited. The organiser’s decision will be final in any such a fraudulent event.
2.4. The ticket will be your identity for this event, and organisers will not entertain any other form of identification. Safekeeping of the ticket is the sole responsibility of the PURCHASER.
3. REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
3.1. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE (UNLESS THE SHOW IS CANCELLED).
3.2. NO EXCHANGE: Once the ticket is purchased, no exchange is available.
3.3. In an unfortunate event of cancellation, postponement, or alteration due to any unforeseen reason, arranging a replacement event, refund, or other compensation methodology will be solely at the organiser’s discretion.
4. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
4.1. We are requesting MINIMUM PERSONAL INFORMATION, which may be asked to provide as per terms defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwlth) prior to purchasing any ticket or before/at the event. If you do not wish to provide such personal information, we may not be able to sell you tickets or permit entry.
4.2. All personal information will be maintained in accordance with our privacy policy, which protects your information in line with community standards of a reasonable person.
5. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
5.1. We may vary terms and conditions at any time. Any changes become effective upon posting on any of our sites, especially the website. By purchasing tickets, you agree to monitor the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by these updates.
6. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
6.1. We will not be liable for any LOSS OR DAMAGE that may arise from purchasing tickets or any other activities related to the event, which has no direct involvement of organisers.
6.2. If the Event Organiser suffers or incurs any LOSS OR DAMAGE in connection with or as a direct consequence of any breach of these terms of use by you, you agree to INDEMNIFY THE ORGANISERS (CASL AUSTRALIA CHAPTER) FOR THOSE LOSSES AND DAMAGES.
7. EVENT CONDUCT
7.1. You hereby agree to obey with event acceptable behaviour. The event is monitored by external security personnel and if participant’s behaviour is not acceptable to the organisers, you may be asked to leave the premises and will not be eligible for a refund.
8. MEDIA AND PHOTOGRAPHY
8.1. The event organiser has ALL RIGHTS TO FILM, PHOTO, AND VIDEO PRODUCTION OF THIS EVENT.
8.2. Photos, articles, and other materials related to the event will be published over social and other media. By purchasing the ticket, the PURCHASER agrees to have NO OBJECTION TO SUCH EXPOSURE. Organisers will not be held liable for any damage or any other form of LOSS arising from such exposure.
9. GOVERNING LAW
9.1. These terms of use shall be construed in accordance with and shall be governed by the laws in force in the STATE OF VICTORIA.
9.2. You IRREVOCABLY SUBMIT TO AND ACCEPT THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION of any of the courts of the State of Victoria or the Commonwealth of Australia and any courts of appeal from these courts.
10. REPORTING ISSUES
10.1. Any ticket purchaser and user of this site may report any alleged violation of the site's terms and conditions via email. We will investigate your claim and take any actions we deem appropriate at our sole discretion, based on the opinion of our legal team and principles of natural justice.
