Purpose Camp 2025
The Purpose (Camp) is an overnight camp to be attended by children in Years 9 to 12 at school (Child) organised by the Sydney Catholic Youth agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney (Archdiocese).
The Camp is an opportunity for teenagers to understand their faith and relationship with God and how they can live their faith in their daily lives. In 2025, the Camp will be held from 9:30am on 22 April 2025 to 1:00pm on 24 April 2025 at the Benedict XVI Retreat Centre, 347 Grose Wold Road, Grose Vale NSW 2753.
In order to participate in the Camp, each Child’s parent/guardian must agree to the Camp Terms and Conditions (Camp Terms) as set out below, complete the form, sign and return it to info@sydneycatholicyouth.org.
Camp Terms
General
I, the undersigned, agree for my Child to participate in the Camp.
I understand that the activities that my Child may participate in during the Camp may include, but are not limited to, indoor and outdoor group activities, basic accommodation, communal eating, socialising, travelling in chartered buses, and that risks may arise during these activities.
I understand that during the Camp activities may involve physical demands and it is my responsibility to notify the Archdiocese if my Child may not participate in any particular activity.
I indemnify and release the Archdiocese, its officers, employees, volunteers and agents against claims and losses of any kind arising out of or in connection with my Child's participation in the Camp.
Rules
I agree and will undertake to ensure that my Child abides by laws applicable to the Camp, the Camp Terms, all instructions given by group leaders and any rules notified to me by the Archdiocese (collectively, Rules) from time-to-time.
I understand that a breach of the Rules may result in the removal of my Child from the Camp.
If my Child is removed from the Camp, I accept responsibility for all costs incurred, including any travel costs associated with my Child’s departure from the Camp.
Payment and Cancellation
The registration fee is $250 (including GST). Early bird registrations completed before 31 March 2025 is $230 (including GST). The registration fee includes shared cabin accommodation, food, transport and activities.
Registration and payment is made through the Trybooking website at https://www.trybooking.com/CZSWR. There is an additional fee of $0.50 per registration for booking via Trybooking.
Registrations close on 15 April 2025.
Payment of the total registration fee is required at registration.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
