025 April Holiday Camp Series - Parent Terms & Conditions
Thank you for enrolling your child in our 2025 April Holiday Camp Series! Please carefully read the terms and conditions outlined below, which are in place to ensure a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all campers. Your child’s participation in camp activities indicates acceptance of these terms.

1. General Consent
By enrolling your child in the 2025 April Holiday Camp Series, you consent to your child's participation in a variety of camp activities, both indoor and outdoor, as listed below. You understand that while every precaution is taken to ensure safety, participation in camp activities carries inherent risks.

2. Activities Included
Your child may participate in the following supervised activities:

Dance & Acro Classes: High-energy sessions involving dance and acrobatics.
Creative Craft Sessions: Arts and crafts, including nature crafts, jewelry making, and clay modeling.
Outdoor Play: Games, exploration, and park play in outdoor areas.
Treasure Hunt: Scavenger hunts with maps and riddles.
Indoor Obstacle Course: Activities involving climbing, crawling, balancing, and hopping.
Eco-Friendly Water Balloon Games: Toss games, relay races, and water balloon fights.
Talent Show: Performances including dance, singing, magic tricks, and comedy.
Tie-Dye T-Shirt Making: Creation of wearable crafts using tie-dye.
Mini Sports Tournament: Activities including soccer, sack races, and tug-of-war.
Dance Party: Dance sessions with music, lights, and props.
Slip 'n Slide: Outdoor water sliding activity.
DIY Bird Feeders: Crafting bird feeders using natural materials.
Face Painting & Dress-Up: Face painting and costume-themed dress-up.
LEGO Creation Station: Building projects with LEGO pieces.
Nerf Gun War: Organized and safe Nerf gun activities.
Park Play: Outdoor play at Long Jetty Park with equipment.
Cozy Movie Time: Indoor movie viewing in the camp’s theatre space.
Outdoor Fun at Long Jetty Lake: Scooter and bike riding near the lake (helmet required).
3. Safety Measures
We prioritize the safety and well-being of every camper:

All staff have valid Working With Children Checks and up-to-date First Aid certification.
Campers will wear yellow hi-vis vests, hats, sunscreen, and proper footwear during outdoor activities.
We maintain a safe child-to-camp leader ratio at all times, especially during outdoor excursions.
Parents are responsible for providing a helmet if their child participates in bike or scooter activities.
4. Lunch and Snacks
Nutritious food will be provided throughout the day, including:

Fresh fruit
Morning tea
Healthy lunch
Snacks Parents are responsible for informing camp staff of any food allergies or dietary restrictions upon registration.
5. Personal Items
Campers are required to bring:

A refillable water bottle
A change of clothes in a wet bag
Helmets for biking/scooter activities (if applicable)
Indoor shoes and slides / thongs if shoes get wet.

We recommend that campers do not bring valuable items to camp, eg phones, devices ect. The camp is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings.

6. Behavior Expectations
We aim to create a positive and inclusive environment for all campers. Parents and campers agree to:

Respect camp staff, other campers, and the camp environment.
Follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by staff.
Maintain a cooperative and positive attitude during all activities.
Failure to comply with behavior expectations may result in a camper’s removal from activities or the camp.

7. Medical and Emergency Information
Parents must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information, including any allergies, health conditions, or special needs. In the event of an emergency, parents consent to camp staff administering first aid or seeking emergency medical treatment as needed.

8. Liability Waiver
By enrolling your child in the camp, you acknowledge and accept that participation in camp activities carries some risk. You agree to release the camp, its staff, and affiliated organizations from any and all claims for damages or injuries that may occur as a result of participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

9. Photo and Media Consent
By enrolling, you consent to the use of photos and videos of your child participating in camp activities for promotional or educational purposes unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Refund and Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the camp start date. Cancellations after this period may not be eligible for a refund.
