Concert Regulations
1. Total time limit for entire performance is 10 minutes.
2. Please bring copies of each score for the adjudicator. Photocopies will not be returned. All laws applying to the photocopying of music must be strictly observed. The Music Teachers’ Association of NSW Ltd accepts no responsibility for unauthorised copying of material by entrants and assumes that no copyright laws have been infringed.
3. Report sheets and participation certificates will be presented to all performers.
4. Students must provide their own accompaniment if required.
5. Students are required to bring their own equipment (i.e. microphone, backing track, cd player etc.) and to bring someone to operate this equipment.
6. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRY: 15 August 2025
LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
7. Entry Fee: Student of MTA Member $55; Student of non-MTA Member $75. Audience fee: Adult $15; Concession $10. Free entry for teachers and accompanists.
8. Number of entries are limited. If the performance sells out, students will be able to still get feedback by submitting an online video. These bookings will open once the performance sells out.
Entries from Rural and Regional NSW
9. Participants from NSW Regional and Rural areas may submit a video performance that will be marked offline. Feedback reports will be sent after the concert has concluded. Please send in an unlisted YouTube video link (or Dropbox file) before the entry closing date. Any questions please contact MTA Head Office.
