Terms and Conditions  −  2026 PEGS Charter Bus Booking

1. For these Terms and Conditions, ‘parents’ includes guardians, if applicable.
2. By booking a seat on the PEGS Charter Bus Service, parents agree to the PEGS Charter Bus Terms and Conditions.
3. It is a condition of booking and use on the PEGS Charter Bus Service that parents:
(a) acknowledge the Safe Student Behaviour outlined in the Bus Travel Policy. Student travel is conditional upon adherence to these guidelines.
(b) the school reserves the right to suspend or withdraw a student from the charter bus services if they breach the Safe Student Behaviour outlined in the school’s Bus Travel Policy.
(c) consent for the school to share your child's name, student ID number, year level, bus route and bus stop with our RollCall software supplier.
4. Students must present their Student ID card to tap on and off on each time they use the service.
5. Students should arrive at the bus stop up to five minutes before the scheduled time to ensure they do not miss the bus. It is the parents’ responsibility to arrange alternative travel if their child misses the bus.
6. In case of emergency, the school is authorised to call an ambulance and to seek any necessary medical attention for a student. Parents will be responsible for any ambulance or medical costs.
7. The school accepts no responsibility for the loss of personal belongings by a student travelling on the charter bus services.
8. An annual fee structure applies, regardless of whether the service will be used one way or return.
9. Payment for travel is required for the full year.
10. Charter Bus fees must be paid at the time of booking.
11. Once booked on a service, students cannot transfer or move between services without a written request to the BusCoordinator@pegs.vic.edu.au .
12. Parents of new students at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School must email a 'head shot' photo of their child to BusCoordinator@pegs.vic.edu.au before a Student ID card will be issued for bus travel.
13. One (1) full term’s notice is required by email to the BusCoordinator@pegs.vic.edu.au , or the payment of one (1) term’s fees in lieu, if a student ceases to use the PEGS charter bus service.
14. No remission of fees is provided if a student is absent from school.

ONLINE BOOKINGS ARE OPEN FROM MONDAY 6 OCTOBER 2025 TO FRIDAY 5 DECEMBER 2025.

Safe Student Behaviour
As with any school activity, students are representing the school and are expected to behave in a courteous manner in accordance with the school rules. Buses are equipped with surveillance cameras to ensure the safety and security of all passengers.
The following bus rules apply:
• Remain seated during travel
• Do not hang or throw anything out of the windows.
• Don’t be noisy or unruly. The driver needs to be able to concentrate on driving.
• No Eating
• Wear seat belts as provided
• Comply with all other rules of the bus company
