GETTING TO THE EVENT

TRAIN

Getting from the Penrith Train Station to the Penrith Showground (127 -141 Station St Penrith) is easy, as it is just a 15 minute walk (approx 1.2km) or a short bus ride south. Exit on the south side of the station (Red Cow Hotel Side) for buses (781, 793, 795, 797 and 799) from the interchange or a quick 5 minute taxi ride.

WALKING

Exit the station on the south side (Red Cow Hotel Side). Walk straight down Station Street. The Showground will be on the right hand side, across the road from Nepean Village Shopping Centre.

DRIVING

There are approximately 400 car parks available internally of the showground on a first in, best dressed scenario. Cost for parking is $10 per car for the duration of the event. Entry to parking is via Ransley St Penrith only (next to the Hogs Breath Cafe).

Patrons are to avoid turning left / right from Mulgoa Road into Ransley St as this will cause a traffic jam on Mulgoa Rd. Visitors are requested to drive into either Jamison Rd or High St Penrith and then into Station St. Once on Station St they can then turn into Ransley St and follow the directions of the SES and CATO traffic management. Please have the money ready to go and CASH is accepted.

You can also find longterm FREE roadside parking on Woodriff St Penrith, Station St Penrith, York Rd South Penrith, McNaughton St Jamisontown, Harris St Jamisontown.

There is also a vacant block that can be used for long term parking if required on the corner of Reserves Rd, Woodriff St and Derby St Penrith

There is a longterm carpark situated on the corner of Woodriff St and Tinale St but get in early as spots are limited.

There is always parking available at Nepean Village, Penrith Panther and other carparks such as Union Road Carpark but they are time limited.

Be sure to go for a look around the Nepean Village or go into the Panthers if you choose to park in these areas.

Finally, there will be a courtesy bus running from Jamison Park to the Showgrounds. Parking at Jamison Park is limited to the Southern end only near the netball courts due to cricket matches being played on the northern end. The bus will depart from the corner of York Rd and Batt Street. There is to be NO eating or DRINKING of any kind on the bus. Failure to follow the rules will see individuals ejected from the bus. As will any abuse to the bus driver.

This is a family friendly environment. Failure to adhere to the basic principles of decency or act in a respectful manner that conforms to accepted social standards, modesty or proper behaviour will see guests evicted from the event by security or the NSW Police. No refunds will be issued if this occurs.
