Protocols MUST READ:
Puppies are vulnerable to pathogens during their critical socialization window.
To protect them, all attendees must:
- Wear freshly laundered clothes, which have not been in contact with any unvaccinated dogs or any dogs with unknown vaccination status.
- Remove shoes upon entry
- Use the provided veterinary-grade hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray as directed by facilitators.
All interactions are supervised by an experienced trainer and breeder to ensure puppy welfare remains the top priority. Please follow all instructions given for the health and safety of puppies:
- You are welcome to let the puppies cuddle in your lap while you sit on your yoga mat. However, please do not pick puppies up, as small puppies can easily jump from hands and risk injuring themselves on hard floors.
- Allow the puppies to approach you and Interact with the puppies in a calm and gentle manner. Never force an interaction with a shy puppy.
- Allow the puppies to roam freely and explore at their own pace. Do not restrict their movement or monopolize their attention, as this can overwhelm the puppy and prevent other attendees from enjoying the experience.
Leave any food or treats at home, as unfamiliar foods can cause belly aches.
- If a puppy falls asleep, you’re welcome to watch and admire them, but please do not disturb their rest, as puppies need 18-20 hours of daily sleep to support their growth and development.
Do not crowd around or interact with the puppies when they are in their playpen, crate or puppy pram as these are safe spaces for the puppies.
