JB Dance Holiday Camp – Parent Terms & Conditions

Thank you for enrolling your child in our JB Dance Holiday Camp! Please take a moment to read through the terms and conditions below. These guidelines help us ensure a safe, fun, and positive experience for all campers. By participating in the camp, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

1. General Consent
By enrolling your child in JB Dance Holiday Camp, you give permission for them to take part in a range of supervised indoor and outdoor activities. While we take every precaution to ensure safety, you understand there are some inherent risks involved in physical and group-based activities.

2. Camp Activities
Campers may participate in a wide variety of age-appropriate, fully supervised activities, including:

Dance & Acro: High-energy, movement-based sessions.

Crafts & Creativity: Art projects like nature crafts, jewellery making, clay, and tie-dye.

Outdoor Play: Park games, explorations, and scooter/bike time.

Treasure Hunts & Obstacle Courses

Eco Water Games: Water balloon tosses and relay races (seasonal).

Talent Shows & Dance Parties

Sports Tournaments: Sack races, soccer, tug-of-war, and more.

Slip 'n Slide (weather permitting)

DIY Bird Feeders & LEGO Creation Station

Nerf Battles (with structured, safe rules)

Dress-Up & Face Painting

Movie Time in our studio theatre

Park Adventures at Long Jetty with optional scooter or bike riding (helmet required)

3. Safety First
Your child’s safety is our top priority:

All staff hold valid Working With Children Checks and First Aid certification.

During outdoor activities, campers wear hi-vis vests, hats, and sunscreen.

Proper footwear is required, and we maintain safe child-to-staff ratios.

Helmets are required for all bike/scooter activities.

Activities are modified or rescheduled in unsafe weather conditions.

4. Food & Snacks
We provide a variety of toasted ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch.
Please also pack:

Fruit

Snacks

A refillable water bottle

5. What to Bring
To help your child have a comfortable day, please ensure they bring:

A refillable water bottle

A change of clothes in a wet bag (especially during January camp or water-play days)

A helmet (if bringing a scooter or bike)

Indoor shoes or thongs/slides (for wet weather backup)

Please avoid sending valuables such as phones or devices, as JB Dance is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

6. Behaviour Expectations
We strive to create an inclusive, respectful environment where all campers feel welcome and supported. Campers are expected to:

Respect staff, fellow campers, and camp property

Follow instructions and safety rules

Maintain a cooperative and positive attitude

Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from certain activities or, in serious cases, from the camp entirely.

7. Medical & Emergency Info
Please ensure we have up-to-date medical details, including allergies, medications, or special needs. In the case of illness or emergency, you give consent for staff to administer First Aid and seek medical care if necessary.

8. Liability Waiver
By enrolling, you accept the inherent risks involved in participating in camp activities. You agree to release JB Dance, its staff, and affiliates from any liability for injury or damage, except in cases of proven gross negligence.

9. Photo & Media Permission
Unless otherwise stated in writing, you consent to JB Dance using photos or videos of your child for promotional or educational purposes (e.g. social media, flyers, website).

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 14 days before camp start are eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 14 days of the camp start date may not be refunded.
